Sonia Bernard

Sonia was born and raised in Western Australia. In 1992, her adventurous spirit took her to Fallbrook, CA, and later to Houston, TX. Wanting more out of life, she joined the United States Army and became an Apache Helicopter Mechanic. She attended basic training at Fort Jackson, SC, then shipped out to South Korea where she served for a year. Upon her return, she was stationed at Fort Campbell, KY, where she served for 5 more years. During this time, she met her husband, Brian, and left the military to begin a family. Over the next 13 years, Sonia worked as a contractor for the military, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, founded a family daycare licensed with the State of TN, worked for the Department of Human Services in TN, and graduated summa cum laude with an MS in Multidisciplinary Human Services from Capella University. The cold TN winters finally pushed Sonia and her family to move to Ladson, SC. For the first time since leaving her homeland, Sonia felt she was home at last! Sonia has a passion for helping others. Her strong belief in being honest, working hard, and not stopping until the job is complete, is the foundation of her approach to buying and selling homes. Her commitment to her clients goes beyond closing, as she genuinely cares about others. When you work with Sonia, you get more than an agent, you get someone who is invested in you!
