Although Waylon proudly calls Summerville home, he was raised in Rochester, New York, before joining the military. His service which took him across the world to Germany, France, Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, and South Korea, before settling in South Carolina in 2021. A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a B.S. in Organizational Leadership and additional certifications in Leadership and Curriculum Development, he previously taught first-year students at South Carolina State University—an experience that strengthened his ability to guide, support, and communicate clearly with students, faculty, and staff.Waylon’s passion for real estate emerged during his transition from a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Army.
